Toxic Ingredients

Text Box:  One of the more troubling things I have found is that vaccines contain Aluminum Hydroxide, thimerosal, and Formalin just to name a few. Aluminum Hydroxide is a form of Aluminum.  Aluminum is harmful to all life forms.  It damages all types of tissue. Aluminum is a protoplasmic poison and a deadly, persistent neurotoxin. No living systems use aluminum as part of a biochemical process.  Ironically, the American Academy of Pediatrics admits that Aluminum is now being implicated as interfering with a variety of cellular and metabolic processes in the nervous system and in other tissues. As of today, it is still in vaccines. Aluminum is a known toxin that can cause encephalitis, bone disease and anemia in susceptible people. The kidneys eliminate Aluminum from the body and so people with renal problems are at risk of Aluminum toxicity. All infants have reduced renal function and may not be able to effectively excrete excessive Aluminum. Kidney function is low at birth and reaches adult level by 1-2 years of age. The presence of Aluminum in a vaccine can cause small nodules to develop under the skin of some babies. These nodules are usually transient in nature and disappear spontaneously after a few weeks. In rare cases extreme hypersensitivity to Aluminum results in persistent nodules. Early studies also suggested a relationship between Aluminum compounds and an increased incidence of allergic diseases.  Aluminum is less toxic than mercury, arsenic, lead or cadmium, but it appears to be more persistent than most of them. The danger  is one that only manifests itself over long periods of time.

"Aluminum hydroxide is used in vaccines to increase the body's production of antibodies, though no one knows how it works," says Purdue researcher Stanley Hem, professor of industrial and physical pharmacy. "The most popular theory was that it remained in the muscle for months while the body produced antibodies in response to the antigens carried on its surface."  During the 1930s, researchers discovered that using aluminum hydroxide to carry antigens into the body resulted in a greater production of antibodies than could be produced by the antigen alone. Antibodies are proteins made by the immune system to fight off foreign substances. Antigens, the proteins or molecules that stimulate the immune system to create antibodies, are condensed and collected on the surface of aluminum hydroxide particles.  Since 1934, aluminum hydroxide has been used as an adjuvant to boost the immune response from vaccines. Currently, it is the only adjuvant approved by the Food and Drug Administration for use in human vaccines. The FDA limits the dosage to 0.85 milligrams per vaccine to minimize exposure to aluminum. "There's been some interest in other materials, but no one has proven them safe enough," Hem says. Children can often receive up to 3.75 mg of parenteral aluminum during the first six months of life. In a study done by Redhead K, Quinlan GJ, Das RG, Gutteridge JM, and the Division of Bacteriology, National Institute for Biological Standards and Control, Herts., UK, they found the injection of aluminum adsorbed vaccines into mice causes a transient rise in brain tissue aluminum levels peaking around the second and third day after injection.  Here is the web address for the whole study.

 One reason Formalin is used is these substances is to initiate  antibody formation.  In the body, the Formalin coating around the injected material dissolves, releasing all bacterial and viral particles from animal culture sources. Substances such as these adjuvant chemicals irritate body tissues and increase the action of accompanying bacteria and viruses, as well as the reaction of the immune system to the foreign protein antigens. However it  potentially damages neurological membranes where the myelin sheath has only partially protected the nervous system. This can result in mild to severe neurological damage, leading to learning disabilities and other nervous system disorders, or death, especially upon subsequent injections, since body has already been sensitized, promoting allergic reactions of increasingly severe nature.

 Formalin is a derivative of formaldehyde. Formalin is a mixture of 37-40 percent formaldehyde, water, and usually 10 percent methanol. It is often used as a working solution for tissue fixation, or as a preservative holding solution for fixed tissues or organ specimens in pathological laboratories.   It is also used to inactivate bacterial products for toxoid vaccines. It will also kill unwanted viruses that might be found in the culture as well as serve as an embalming agent. Formaldehyde is a neurotoxin and carcinogen It effects the nervous system and known to cause cancer. It may cause insomnia, coughing, headaches, nausea, nosebleeds, and skin rashes. It is commonly known to embalm corpses. It has been said that there is no safe level of formaldehyde to be ingested into the body.

Including brain and retina, and that this breakdown product of aspartame is very toxic to proteins and DNA, leading to permanent injury to these vital cellular components. Even more important, was the finding that this highly toxic substance accumulates in these with chronic exposure to aspartame. This could lead to significant injury to the brain, retina and other organs long after the exposure. Also, the effects appear to be dose related. That is, the more aspartame you consume, the greater the damage. It should be appreciated that formaldehyde is a powerful carcinogenic agent."

Casein is another ingredient. Although is is made from milk, in the body it is  considered a foreign protein. Casein is a tenacious glue and your body reacts to its presence by creating an antibody. That antibody-antigen reaction creates histamines. Anti-histamines (like Benadryl) are used to counter the effects of histamines. This is the same glue that is used to hold a label to a bottle of beer. Try to scrape off one of those labels, then consider the effects of casein in your babies body.

Some of the live vaccines do contain gelatin as a stabilizing agent. Gelatin is an animal protein substance made from collagen obtained by boiling animal skins, hides, bones, and other tissues after pretreatment with alkali or acid. Gelatin is an ingredient in MMR, Varicella, and yellow fever vaccines. People with severe allergies to gelatin should consider skin testing prior to receiving a gelatin-containing vaccine. The problem is that most gelatins in foods come from boiled cows, while the gelatin used in vaccines is from boiled pigs.

MSG

Another ingredient is MSG. According to lead researcher Hiroshi Ohguro, his is the first study to show that eye damage can be caused by eating food that contains MSG. A report in the New Scientist this week explains that in the study, rats were fed three different diets for six months, containing either high or moderate amounts of MSG, or none. In rats on the high-MSG diet, some retinal nerve layers thinned by as much as 75 percent, and tests that measured retinal response to light showed they could not see as well. Rats on the moderate MSG diet also had damage, to a lesser extent. The researchers found high concentrations of MSG in the vitreous fluid, which bathes the retina. MSG binds to receptors on retinal cells, destroying them and causing secondary reactions that reduce the ability of the remaining cells to relay electrical signals. This study is of course from eating MSG. I have not found a study done injecting MSG into rats or otherwise.

Today scientists know that MSG kills brain cells and causes neuroendocrine disorders in laboratory animals; and that it causes adverse reactions in humans. Scientists know that the blood brain barrier, once thought to prevent glutamate that comes from exogenous sources (eating included) from entering the brain, is not fully developed until puberty; is easily damaged by such conditions as high fever, a blow to the head, and the normal course of aging; and, in the area of the circumventricular organs, is leaky at best at any stage of life. Scientists know that a diverse number of disease conditions such as ALS, Alzheimer's disease, seizures, and stroke are associated with the glutamate cascade (Blaylock, 1994).

Scientists also understand that MSG is simply processed free glutamic acid, or processed free glutamic acid combined with sodium  and that glutamic acid is a neurotransmitter that causes nerves to fire; and when present in excess quantities, causes nerves to fire until they die. For example instead of having a signal for some function to "go", we get a signal that says "go, go, go, go" indefinitely. This can cause seizures, spasms, or shut down of an organ, muscle or function.

When they examined the eye tissue of the sacrificed animals they made a startling discovery. MSG had destroyed all the nerve cells in the inner layers of the animals retina which are the visual receptor cells of the eye."

Many parents of children with ADHD have found that elimination of MSG from their children's diets has resolved ADHD. In 1991, CBS's television program, "60 Minutes," did a segment on MSG. One of the children featured in the segment suffered from ADHD. His condition was resolved through elimination of MSG from his diet.

I was beginning to wonder why so many kids are allergic to peanuts when I started researching vaccines. I think I found the answer. Peanut oil is also used as an adjuvant in vaccines.
